Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse Review

Microsoft's Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse ensures maximum wrist comfort and mouse performance. The device's egg-shape design and thumb support make the device easier to use and helps prevent wrist strain. As one of the most affordable ergonomic mouse models on the market, the Sculpt may just be one of the best investments you make in office equipment.

Ergonomically Designed

Microsoft's Sculpt features a unique egg-shaped design with a convenient thumb scoop. The scoop acts as a rest for your thumb and helps you maintain a natural thumb and wrist position.

Designed especially for Windows, this mouse features a convenient Windows button that allows you to access your Start screen in just one click. A convenient back button allows you to quickly navigate the web. The Sculpt also features a 4-way scroll wheel to easily navigate up, down, left and right.

Unlike other mice, which are flat, the Sculpt is angled to support a natural wrist position. The left side of the mouse, where the thumb scoop is located, is slightly taller than the right side of the mouse. This prevents discomfort and provides your thumb with the support it needs.

Also unlike other mice, the Sculpt will track on just about any surface, including carpeting and granite countertops. BlueTrack technology is exceptionally accurate and even outperforms optical and laser mice. Using an image sensor and a large blue beam, the mouse creates a high-contrast image of the surface that makes it incredibly accurate.

Compatibility and Connectivity

The Sculpt ergonomic mouse is compatible with Windows 8, Windows RT, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Mac OSX v10.4 – 10.x. This model requires 2 AA batteries to run, which are conveniently included.

The Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse is slightly larger than the average mouse, which makes it more comfortable to use. The angled design and added thumb scoop make this mouse comfortable to use even after hours of use.
